Mintura places a strong emphasis on sustainability, recognizing the importance of environmental responsibility in international trade.

Despite having a low direct Carbon Footprint, we are keenly aware of the sustainability concerns up and down the value chain.

Our sustainable initiatives include:

Byproduct Utilisation:

Approximately 80% of the volume of product we supply is reclaimed as a by-product from other industrial processes. E.g. Silica Fume, Fly Ash, GBFS, GGBFS, Si Slag, Slag Briquettes etc.

Innovation in low CO2 materials:

We have invested significant capital and time in developing our ECO-Silica, which is made with byproducts and recycled material – it has been independently verified to be able to substitute up to 40% of cement without compromising concrete strength.

Eco-Friendly Operations:

We continuously strive to improve our operational processes to minimize environmental impact. This includes optimizing logistics to reduce carbon footprint, and implementing eco-friendly practices in our offices and facilities.

Education and Collaboration:

Through sharing knowledge and ongoing cooperation, we actively working with factories and partners to quantify and reduce Scope 1, 2, 3 carbon emission in accordance with CBAM regulations.
